Team Kirby Clash Deluxe – amiibo Functions Guide
Team Kirby Clash Deluxe is a free-to-play game for the 3DS that features amiibo functionality. While amiibo won’t let you bypass the game’s microtransactions they will give you some Fragments, which are items that are dropped by enemies in missions. There are three different elements of Fragments – Fire, Water and Light. You can use these to buy better equipment which will require different amounts of each kind of Fragment.
Once you’ve finished the first mission, you’ll be taken to the main hub area. Head all the way to the left and you’ll see a statue of Kirby. Walk up to this and press up on the d-pad to activate the amiibo usage prompt. You can tap up to 5 amiibo every day and each amiibo can only be used once each day. Depending on which amiibo you tapped, you’ll earn a different amount of Fragments.
If you tap any of these amiibo, you’ll be given 20 Fragments of one element:
- Kirby (Kirby series)
- Meta-Knight (Kirby series)
- King DeDeDe (Kirby series)
- Waddle Dee
- Qbby
If you tap any of these amiibo then you’ll be given 10 Fragments of one element:
- Kirby (Smash Bros. series)
- Meta-Knight (Smash Bros. series)
- King DeDeDe (Smash Bros. series)
If you tap any other amiibo not listed above, then you’ll be given 5 Fragments of one element.
Whenever you tap an amiibo there is a chance you could be given a Rare Fragment, which you can use to purchase higher-end equipment later in the game. These are also given out randomly in-game at some points, with a higher chance of them appearing as your rank increases.
