Picross 3D Round 2 – amiibo Functions and Unlocks Guide

Picross 3D Round 2 for the 3DS has some extra puzzles you can unlock if you’ve got certain amiibo figures. Once you’ve cleared four books of puzzles, a new one will appear right at the end of the list of puzzles. It’s got an amiibo logo on it, so it’s pretty clear what this does.

Open it up and tap the amiibo logo on the touch screen, then you’ll be prompted to tap an amiibo. If you tap an amiibo figure of the following characters, you’ll unlock an exclusive puzzle linked to that character.

• Mario
• Luigi
• Peach / Toad (they both unlock the same puzzle)
• Bowser
• Yoshi
• Kirby
• Meta-Knight
• King DeDeDe
• Link

These puzzles are just like the other puzzles in the game – use the blue and orange markings to gradually work out which blocks need to be destroyed. As you clear away the blocks in each row, you’ll form scenes starring the character whose amiibo you tapped. You can play each puzzle in all three difficulties.
