Resident Evil Revelations Collection amiibo Guide

Both Resident Evil Revelations games have been released for the Nintendo Switch, and both of them will let you scan your amiibo for bonuses in each game’s Raid Mode. There’s no exclusive content locked behind the amiibo, but they will let you replenish your supplies quickly without the need for saving up in-game cash.

Resident Evil Revelations

Resident Evil Revelations offers two different functions for your amiibo, unlocking either BP to spend in the Raid Mode shop or resources to use in Raid Mode games. There’s no limit to how many amiibo you can scan per day, but each individual amiibo can only be scanned once so you’ll have to decide whether you want to use your figure for BP or items. Scanning amiibo of Capcom characters will usually get you better rewards than other amiibo. For the record, those amiibo are the following ones:

  • MegaMan (Smash Bros. series)
  • Gold MegaMan (Smash Bros. series)
  • Ryu (Smash Bros. series)
  • One-Eyed Rathalos and Rider (Male) (Monster Hunter Stories series)
  • One-Eyed Rathalos and Rider (Female) (Monster Hunter Stories series)
  • Navirou (Monster Hunter Stories series)
  • Rathian and Cheval (Monster Hunter Stories series)
  • Barioth and Avinia (Monster Hunter Stories series)
  • Qurupeco and Dan (Monster Hunter Stories series)

Options Menu

If you scan your amiibo before you load a game, you will earn BP that you can spend in Raid Mode to purchase weapons, weapon parts and consumables. To access the amiibo scanning feature, head to either the Main Menu or the Raid Mode menu and select Options. Then select the amiibo option. You’ll then be prompted to tap an amiibo.

Scanning Capcom amiibo will consistently reward you with high amounts of BP, usually around 7000-10,000BP. Scanning any other amiibo will reward drastically varying amounts of BP – you could earn a high amount of BP like the Capcom amiibo reward or you could end up with a much lower amount like 1000BP!

In-Game

When you’re in the middle of a Raid Mode game you can scan your amiibo to replenish your supplies. Pause the game with the + button and select Options; then select the amiibo option. You’ll be prompted to tap an amiibo.

Scanning amiibo will give you ammo for a single weapon, some grenades of a single type, or some green herbs. Scanning a Capcom amiibo will usually give you a higher amount of supplies than a regular amiibo would give, and they appear to give grenades and herbs more frequently than regular amiibo as well.
