This quest requires you to have completed Tamer of Time and spoken to Dame Deartime afterwards. You will also not be able to encounter the Elite Wicked Yo-kai unless it is nighttime.

Unfairy can be found just outside the Infinite Inferno. Warp to the Mirapo in there and then exit the building; you will find Unfairy a little to the left. Talk to them and you will discover that they were born from Dedtime’s sadness of never being able to see her beloved again. You will now have the option of fighting them, but make sure you prepare and save inside the Inferno first.
Unfairy likes snacks, so go grab some Snow Pea Snacks from Frostia’s Place at night. In order to boost your chances of befriending them, bring along a Yo-kai who can inspirit them and then use the Poke function of the Model Zero watch. Keep poking around the circle until love hearts appear, and then rapidly tap that spot. The main thing to look out for from Unfairy is their Reaper attack – it can drain your HP and will be more potent thanks to their skill. They’re weak to Water attribute attacks, so exploit that to your benefit.
If you win the battle and don’t befriend them, quit to the title screen and try again. Repeat the process until you recruit them and then the quest will be completed.
