Green Arrow and Supergirl Don’t Unlock Battle Arenas in LEGO Dimensions
A big feature of LEGO Dimensions Year 2 is the inclusion of new Battle Arenas. These are a new feature unlocked when you place the new gold-tagged characters on the base, with each pack unlocking a new one. In here you can battle 3 other players (or bots) in different local multiplayer modes. One of the questions lingering about these modes was whether the promotional Supergirl and Green Arrow figures would unlock a new Battle Arena, since they themselves have gold tags. The LEGO Dimensions social media accounts have today clarified that they’re the sole exceptions to the rule.

@NintenZ Hi there, Green Arrow and Supergirl are the exceptions. They do not unlock Battle Arenas. Hope this helps!

So to clarify how these arenas work:
- Each PACK unlocks a new arena, but not each CHARACTER. So for instance, Finn in the Adventure Time Level Pack will unlock one Adventure Time Battle Arena, while Jake and Lumpy Space Princess in the Adventure Time Team Pack will unlock a second. However, Jake and Lumpy Space Princess will unlock the same arena as each other.
- Each Arena comes with four modes
- Only packs with gold tags unlock an arena
- Supergirl and Green Arrow don’t unlock Battle Arenas, despite having gold tags
