As part of Earth Month, Apple and the World Wildlife Fund have teamed up to bring back the Apps for Earth campaign. Up until April 24th, all proceeds from certain apps and in-app purchases go directly to the WWF to help their conservation efforts. Disney Infinity is part of this campaign, bringing a new digital bundle and some new playable Toy Boxes. The Disney Infinity WWF Pack is available for purchase within the iOS version of Disney Infinity 3.0 for $7.99, and gives you access to the following content:

  • Nick Wilde, Judy Hopps, and Baloo playable characters
  • Tantor the Elephant mount power disc
  • The Lion King skybox and texture power discs

Nick, Judy and Baloo

Baloo is a new addition to the iOS version, so you’ll need to download an update in order to purchase this bundle. Other digital versions have yet to be updated. You don’t seem to be able to unlock Baloo on iOS through the usual methods (webcodes or using him on an online-connected console), so this bundle’s a good buy if mobile is your platform of choice. Plus, it’s for charity, which is the more important aspect really!

In addition to this bundle, 5 special Toy Boxes have been made available for download that are themed after different environments, such as jungles and tundras. They aim to raise environmental awareness in a fun and interactive way, featuring activities like extinguishing forest fires and saving animals in distress. These Toy Boxes can be accessed in the Community Content section on both mobile and console, under the Special Access Toy Boxes section. We’ve got playthroughs of each of these special Toy Boxes, which you can view below:

Carter Roberts, President and CEO of WWF-US

“With rich creativity and extraordinary reach, this campaign will engage hundreds of millions of people. To succeed in our work, we need big ideas with big impact. Apps for Earth delivers on that in an unprecedented way and we couldn’t be more excited about it.”
