Dark Souls Remastered on Switch Praises the amiibo-Melting Sun

UPDATE (09/03/18) – It has been announced that the Solaire amiibo will be exclusive to the Nintendo AUNZ eBay Store.

Today’s Nintendo Direct revealed some exciting news for Dark Souls fans – an amiibo of Solaire of Astora will be releasing alongside Dark Souls Remastered on the Nintendo Switch. It appears that this amiibo will let you perform the Praise the Sun gesture whenever you want. We’ll aim to document all the amiibo’s functions on the game’s release, provided we don’t give up a few bosses in this time around.

In addition, there will be a network test for Dark Souls Remastered before the game is released, allowing you to be humiliated and cry a lot before you’ve even paid for the game.

Dark Souls Remastered and the Solaire amiibo launch on May 25th.
