Yo-kai Watch Blasters Calls in to the 3DS in September

If you enjoyed the Yo-kai Watch Blasters mode in Yo-kai Watch 2, then good news – it’s being spun off into its own full game that’s releasing in September! Yo-kai Watch Blasters: Red Cat Corps and Yo-kai Watch Blasters: White Dog Squad will be releasing on September 8th in Australia for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems. In these games you’ll form teams of Yo-kai who’ll fight evil Yo-kai in real-time battles, with the ability to recruit and play as over 400 different Yo-kai! And the best part is, you can actually play online this time and aren’t reliant on your friends being in the same room. Watch the reveal trailer below!

If you’ve got save data from Yo-kai Watch 2 then you’ll be able to unlock exclusive Yo-kai depending on which versions you have data from – Bony Spirits will unlock Jibanyan S, Fleshy Souls will unlock Komasan S and Psychic Specters will unlock Komajiro S. You’ll be able to scan QR codes from your physical Yo-kai medals to unlock bonuses just like in previous Yo-kai Watch games.
