Skylanders Creator is Out Now!

Activision previously announced their Skylanders Creator app that would let you create Skylanders or import ones you’ve already made in Skylanders Imaginators, and then order customised merchandise featuring them. Well, ahead of the release of Imaginators tomorrow, you can now download Skylanders Creator on iOS and Android. I’ve taken a quick look at it and it looks like something I’ll waste a fair amount of time in – and the good news is that the merchandise store is accessible to Australians! You can’t yet order custom figures, but it seems like you can order T-shirts and NFC cards already.

One of the cool features of the app is being able to see what abilities you can give Skylanders of each element and battle class, which means you can plan out your Skylanders before you’re locked into a class. You gradually unlock Senseis and parts to build your Skylander with, or you can transfer a character you made in the game to unlock all its parts immediately.
