Microsoft Announces LEGO Dimensions Workshops for the School Holidays

Attention Junior Master Builders! Microsoft have announced a series of LEGO Dimensions workshops that will be taking place these April school holidays. These hands-on workshops will be taking place at the Microsoft Flagship Store in Sydney, and “will merge the creativity of hands-on LEGO building with the epic storytelling of the popular LEGO Dimensions video game”. Each session goes for 2 hours, and will feature team challenges and LEGO building both within the game and in real life. All participants will receive a free gift pack and certificate, and will also have the chance to work with talented LEGO artists from Bricktascale, such as Drew Sneddon, to build their own LEGO mosaics.

Workshops will be run from Monday 11 April through to Friday 22 April. They’re recommended for kids aged 7-14 years, so big kids like myself might have to sit this one out. If you want to attend, make sure you book quickly at http://www.microsoft.com.au/workshops as spaces are limited. All children must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or qualified Master Builder.
