Get the Paws of Fury Jibanyan Yo-kai Medal at Toys R Us This Week

Back when Yo-kai Watch merchandise originally launched in the US, there was a promotion where you’d get a special Jibanyan Yo-kai medal if you pre-ordered the physical watch toy. This medal depicted Jibanyan using his Soultimate move ‘Paws of Fury’, and would behave differently in the watch toy and when scanned into the various tie-in apps. That promotion wasn’t carried over here (surprise, surprise) and so it was another bit of merch that we missed out on. [movie trailer voice] UNTIL NOW!

This week’s Toys R Us catalogue, which runs from October 26th to November 15th, has a promotion that’ll let you get this medal for, as far as I can tell, the first time in Australia. Buy two packs of Yo-kai Watch medals (priced at $4.99 each) and you’ll get the Paws of Fury medal for free.

The terms and conditions at the back of the catalogue make it sound like you might be able to sneakily buy the medal itself for $1.66 but your mileage may vary.
