Skylanders Academy Renewed for a Third Season on Netflix
Activision have announced that Skylanders Academy, a Netflix Original series based on the Skylanders series games, will be getting a third season. The show’s first season premiered at the end of last year and the second season will release sometime later this year. Season 3 will begin production this month and is scheduled for a 2018 release. Skylanders Academy was the first production by Activision Blizzard Studios, which was formed to create original content based off Activision Blizzard’s many franchises.
“Activision Blizzard Studios celebrates the opportunity to bring another season of quality programming to families around the world,” said studio Co-President Nick van Dyk. “We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Netflix on this iconic franchise.”
