FIRE sale

We didn’t have a price guide last week because I didn’t think there was anything that needed mentioning, but it turns out the new Mario & Sonic Olympics game released Saturday, and is an amiibo-compatible game. Oops. So this week, in addition to some sales that are floating around, I’ll post the best prices I can find for that.

If you’re after Mario & Sonic, the cheapest price is $45 at Target. The silver medal goes to Big W, at $47. That $2 can go a long way!

Target Mario & Sonic Price

Since I skipped last week, I’m not sure if I’ve posted these Target deals already or not, but if it’s a repeat then it won’t hurt you to see them again. First, they have up to 40% off Skylanders Superchargers toys. This means Starter Packs are $49 on all platforms, and figures and vehicles are $9 and $11 each, respectively. They’re also advertising an exclusive Nitro Stealth Stinger, which is $14.

Target Skylanders Price

For Disney Infinity, they’re advertising 40% off “a range” of single figures, meaning that standard figures will cost $10 if they’re included. From browsing their website it appears anything released in March is normal price. The discount does, however, apply to their LightFX figures, which will cost $13. They stock Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Kanan LightFX figures, while Big W have Luke, Anakin, and Darth Vader. EB Games have the Kylo Ren LightFX figure. Target also have discounts on other Infinity content, including $22 playsets. This does not include the Marvel Battlegrounds playset, however.

Target Skylanders Price

Target also have the standard discounted prices on LEGO Dimensions packs – $38 Level Packs, $30 Team Packs, $20 Fun Packs. This includes the latest wave of releases.

Target LEGO Prices

Big W’s LEGO and Infinity prices from our last price guide are still in effect this week, but aside from their price on the Dimensions Starter Pack their prices aren’t as good as Target’s.

More generally, Ozbargain has posted some clearance prices that Target will have on various games and accessories. It’s a long list, but we’ve collated most of the relevant ones here. Keep in mind that as they are clearance items, they’re likely to be out of stock at most stores, but it can’t hurt to phone up or visit your local store to confirm stock.

  • Most (all?) Disney Infinity 2.0 figures – $3 each
  • Disney Infinity 2.0 playsets – $5 each
  • Disney Infintiy 2.0 Starter Sets – $10 each
  • Disney Infintiy 1.0 triple packs – $5 each
  • Disney Infinity 1.0 characters – $1 each
  • Disney Infinity 3.0 Toy Box Speedway – $12
  • Captain Toad Treasure Tracker (Wii U) – $30
  • Chibi Robo Zip Lash amiibo bundle (3DS) – $25
  • Disney Infinity 3.0 Special Edition (Starter Set + Boba Fett figure and Rise Against the Empire playset, PS4 only) – $59
  • Animal Crossing amiibo card albums – $10
  • Most amiibo – $10
  • Mega Yarn Yoshi -$30
  • amiibo triple packs – $30
  • 500GB PS4 + Disney Infinity 3.0 Special Edition – $399
  • Shovel Knight – $20
  • Various savings on old Skylanders figures
  • Wii U + Splatoon – $279
  • Skylanders Trap Team Starter Set (Wii U) – $10

JB Hi-Fi are also having some Toys to Life sales. They’re slashing 25% off their Disney Infinity 3.0 toys until May 19th, which gives you just over a month to get in there. This means that figures are $12.75, power discs are $9, and playsets are $28.49. This includes the new Marvel Battlegrounds playset, which makes this the cheapest price for the playset so far.

JB Infinity Deal

They’ve also got 20% off LEGO Dimensions til May 4th, which is less exciting because these prices are still a little higher than other places, aside from their Fun Packs which are a little lower at $19.20 each. This deal excludes the latest wave, though, so no cheaper Midway Arcade pack, Superman, Aquaman, or Stay Puft.

JB LEGO Deal

Both of JB’s deals apply in-store and online, so if you can’t make it to a store you can order them to be sent to you. Thanks Vook for the heads up on these deal!

The next big release will be Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard next Saturday, so we’ll be sure to post a price guide next week as well.
