Savvy and Stylish Details on the amiibo Functions of New Style Boutique 3
Nintendo have launched a Japanese game site for New Style Boutique 3: Styling Star (which is called Girl’s Mode 4: Star Stylist over there) and it provides a lot of details on the game. The relevant part for us is that the game will have amiibo support. Tapping any of the following amiibo will unlock special design patterns and emblems:

- Wolf Link

- All Splatoon series amiibo (they will all unlock the same item)

You can use any variants of the above figures for the same effect (e.g. Smash Bros. Mario, Wedding Mario and Classic Colours Mario will all unlock the same thing). I would wager that there will also be some overlap between unique amiibo as well – I doubt each unique Zelda and Animal Crossing character has their own design.
